
A toddler wearing just his nappy and holding a small ball was found wandering the streets alone.
The boy, who is believed to be around two or three-years-old, was found by somebody in Newport, Wales, just before 7am this morning.
The young boy was taken into the care of police who have spoken to his parents to establish what happened.
Gwent Police said there was no criminal offences and the boy was given back to his parents.

Reports on social media claimed that the young boy was only wearing his nappy and carrying the small ball.
The South Wales Argues reported that he is non-verbal.
A Gwent Police spokesperson said: ‘We received a report of a young boy being found by a member of the public in Newport at around 6.55am on Thursday 20 March.
‘The child is currently safe with our officers while they speak with his parents to establish the circumstances.’
